Seniors Exercise Class
Megan Reinhardt, DPT, MS, developed the Seniors Exercise Class to meet the unique needs of people 65 years of age or older living with various types of injuries, pain syndromes and health conditions.  In a supportive and motivating small group environment overlooking the Hudson River, Megan leads the group through a series of therapeutic exercises designed to improve mobility, strength and balance.  She tailors the exercises to the needs of the individuals in the class, with sitting and standing variations as appropriate.  If you have conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, or spinal stenosis, this class may be right for you. Class meets weekly for 45 minutes.  Musical selections by Chet Baker, Artie Shaw and others complement the exercise routine.  To be eligible to participate in class, a prescription for Physical Therapy is required.  To register for class or for more information, call 212-305-9625.
