Congratulations to Dr. Richard Anderson. In April, Dr. Anderson will become the newest member of the leadership team for one of the most prestigious international groups of pediatric neurosurgeons: the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Pediatric Neurosurgery.
This group, often called just the Peds Section, is made up of members of two large neurosurgical organizations, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. And membership is growing: The 2018 Peds Section meeting in Nashville was the most well attended in the group’s history.
In Nashville, members from around the country and around the world met to share ideas and information, improve patient care and focus on concerns, activities and advances in pediatric neurosurgery. And during time off from all these informative activities, members voted on the group’s leadership for the coming years.
Dr. Anderson was honored to have his nomination for Treasurer confirmed by his peers. He will begin a two-year term as Treasurer in April.
A big round of congratulations to Dr. Anderson.
